How to Ring Pull Up

Starting Position

1. Start by standing in front of a low ring.

2. Reach up and grab the ring with an overhand grip, making sure your hands are slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.

3. With your arms extended, step back until you are in a plank position with your feet shoulder-width apart.

4. Make sure your core is engaged and your body is in a straight line from your head to your toes.

Proper Form

1. Keep your arms straight and your core engaged, bend your elbows and pull your chest up towards the rings.

2. Make sure to keep your shoulders down and back throughout the movement.

3. Once your chest reaches the rings, pause for a brief moment and then slowly lower your body back to the starting position.

Breathing Technique

1. As you lower your body, inhale deeply.

2. As you pull your chest up towards the rings, exhale.

Precautions

1. Make sure to keep your body in a straight line throughout the movement.

2. Keep your shoulders down and back to avoid straining your neck and upper back.

3. Do not rush the movement, take your time and focus on proper form.
