Barbell Preacher CurlToned arms
It is a workout to build biceps using barbells while sitting on a preacher bench. You can focus on targeting your biceps because you lift the weight only with the strength of the biceps!
1. Make sure to keep your elbows tucked in while performing the exercise to avoid any unnecessary strain on your shoulders. 2. Do not swing the barbell or use momentum to lift the weight. Focus on using your biceps to control the movement.
1. Begin by inhaling deeply, then exhaling as you curl the barbell up towards your chest. 2. Keep your elbows tucked in and your back straight throughout the movement. 3. Once the barbell reaches your chest, pause for a moment, then slowly begin to lower the barbell back to the starting position.
1. Inhale deeply as you lower the barbell. 2. Exhale as you lift the barbell.
1. Sit down on a preacher curl bench and adjust the seat so that your arms are positioned comfortably on the top of the bench. 2. Grab a barbell with a shoulder width grip and make sure your palms are facing up. 3. Ensure your arms are fully extended, with your elbows slightly bent.
