How to

Starting Position

1. Stand on the Balance Trainer with your feet hip-width apart and your knees slightly bent. 2. Place your hands on the handles of the Balance Trainer and hold them firmly in place.

Proper Form

1. Begin by pushing down into the handles of the Balance Trainer and using your core and glutes to lift your body off the platform. 2. When your body is completely off the platform, begin to crunch your upper body in towards your hips. 3. Hold the crunch position for a few seconds, then slowly lower your body back down to the starting position.

Breathing Technique

1. When beginning the exercise, take a deep breath in and hold it as you lift your body off the platform. 2. As you crunch your upper body in towards your hips, exhale. 3. Take a deep breath as you slowly lower your body back down to the starting position.

Precautions

1. Make sure to keep your core engaged throughout the exercise. 2. Keep your back flat and your neck in line with your spine. 3. Do not arch your back or jerk your body during the exercise.
