How to

Starting Position

Proper Form

1. Begin by taking a slow, steady step forward with one foot. 2. As you place your foot on the ground, press through the heel and roll through the toes to propel yourself forward. 3. As your back foot leaves the ground, bring your forward foot up to meet it. 4. Continue in this manner, taking slow, steady steps and keeping your arms swinging naturally at your sides.

Breathing Technique

1. As you walk, focus on taking deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth. 2. Keep your breathing steady throughout your walk.

Precautions

1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, your core engaged, and your arms swinging naturally at your sides. 2. Look straight ahead and keep your chin slightly raised.
