How to Butt Kick Row

Starting Position

1. Make sure to keep your back flat and your core engaged throughout the exercise.

2. Don_ arch your back or let your hips drop as you kick your foot back.

3. Don_ let the dumbbells pull your arms too far back, keep them close to your body.

Proper Form

1. Kick your right foot back and up towards your glutes.

2. As you do this, simultaneously hinge at your hips and bend your arms to bring the dumbbells up to your side.

3. Return to the starting position and repeat with the left foot.

Breathing Technique

1. As you kick your foot back, exhale.

2. As you hinge your hips and bring the dumbbells up to your side, inhale.

Precautions

1. Stand with your feet hip-width apart and your arms by your sides.

2. Bend your knees slightly and keep your core engaged.
