How to Kettlebell Push Up

Starting Position

1. Start in a plank position with your feet shoulder-width apart. Place a kettlebell in each hand, with your arms extended and palms facing the ground.

2. Brace your core and keep your back flat and body in a straight line.

Proper Form

1. Lower your body towards the ground, bending your arms and keeping your elbows close to your body.

2. As you lower yourself, keep your core engaged and your body in a straight line.

3. When your chest reaches the kettlebells, press into the ground and extend your arms to return to the starting position.

Breathing Technique

1. Exhale as you lower yourself towards the ground.

2. Inhale as you press into the ground and extend your arms to return to the starting position.

Precautions

1. Make sure to keep your core engaged and your body in a straight line throughout the exercise.

2. Do not let your elbows flare out to the side as you lower yourself towards the ground.

3. Do not let your hips drop as you lower yourself towards the ground.
