Because I use a machine, I can easily fix my elbow. You can focus on targeting your biceps because you lift the weight only with the strength of the biceps!

How to

Starting Position

1. Make sure to keep your back and head straight throughout the exercise. 2. Do not swing your arms or jerk your body to move the weight. 3. Do not lock your elbows at the top of the movement.

Proper Form

1. Begin the movement by curling your arms up towards your shoulders. 2. Exhale as you curl your arms up and inhale as you lower them back down. 3. Keep your elbows still and your back and head straight throughout the exercise. 4. Lower your arms back down until your elbows are slightly bent.

Breathing Technique

1. Exhale as you curl your arms up and inhale as you lower them back down. 2. Keep your breathing steady and controlled throughout the exercise.

Precautions

1. Sit on the Preacher Curl Machine and adjust the seat so that your arms are at the same level as the pad. Place your arms on the pad and grip the handles. 2. Keep your back and head straight and your elbows still. 3. Your arms should be slightly bent at the start of the exercise.
