How to Seated Dumbbell Drag Curl

Starting Position

1. Make sure to maintain good form throughout the exercise.

2. Don_ swing the dumbbells or use momentum to curl the weights.

3. Don_ lift heavier weights than you can handle.

Proper Form

1. Keeping your elbows tucked in at your sides, slowly drag the dumbbells up your body by curling your arms.

2. Focus on engaging your biceps while curling the dumbbells up.

3. At the top of the curl, hold for a brief moment and squeeze your biceps.

4. Slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position.

Breathing Technique

1. Inhale as you begin the curl and exhale as you finish the curl.

2. Exhale as you hold the top of the curl and squeeze your biceps.


1. Sit on a bench with your feet flat on the floor.

2. Hold a dumbbell in each hand at arm_ length.

3. Your palms should be facing each other.

4. Keep your back straight and your chest up.
