How to

Starting Position

1. Stand with your feet hip-width apart, holding a resistance band in each hand. 2. Bend your elbows to 90-degree angles, with your hands in a neutral grip, just outside your hips.

Proper Form

1. Step your left foot out to the side, then immediately step your right foot out to the side. 2. Continue alternating sides for the desired amount of reps.

Breathing Technique

1. Exhale as you step your left foot out to the side. 2. Inhale as you step your right foot out to the side.

Precautions

1. Keep your feet hip-width apart throughout the exercise. 2. Keep your core engaged and your spine neutral. 3. Take small steps and don_ allow the band to pull too hard on your arms.
