It's the best workout to burn calories. It's really hard, but it's a very effective workout!

How to Burpee

Starting Position

1. Make sure to brace your core and maintain a neutral spine throughout the exercise.

2. Do not let your knees cave in when you squat down.

3. Do not let your hips sag when you are in the high plank position.

4. Do not let your back round when you lower your chest and thighs to the floor.

5. Start slowly and increase the speed and intensity as you become more comfortable with the movement.

Proper Form

1. Squat down and place your hands on the floor in front of you.

2. Jump or step your feet back into a high plank position.

3. With control, lower your chest and thighs to the floor.

4. Press your palms into the floor and jump or step your feet back to your hands.

5. Use the momentum to jump up, reaching your arms overhead.

Breathing Technique

1. Exhale as you squat down and place your hands on the floor.

2. Inhale as you jump or step your feet back into a high plank.

3. Exhale as you lower your chest and thighs to the floor.

4. Inhale as you press your palms into the floor and jump or step your feet back to your hands.

5. Exhale as you jump up, reaching your arms overhead.

Precautions

1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, with your arms at your sides.

2. Brace your core and maintain a neutral spine.
