By using cables, you can more easily maintain the tension than using barbells or dumbbells. You have to keep your core and legs tight so that your body doesn't sway!
How to Standing Cable Row
Starting Position
1. Stand facing the cable machine with your feet hip-width apart and knees slightly bent.
2. Hold the cable handle with both hands, arms extended in front of you at chest level.
Proper Form
1. Keeping your arms extended, pull the cable handle towards your chest while keeping your back straight and core engaged.
2. Squeeze your shoulder blades together and hold for a moment.
3. Slowly return to the starting position.
Breathing Technique
1. Exhale as you pull the cable handle towards your chest.
2. Inhale as you slowly return to the starting position.
Precautions
1. Keep your back straight and core engaged throughout the exercise.
2. Avoid using momentum to pull the cable handle.
3. Do not overextend your arms at the end of the movement.
