How to Walk

Starting Position

1. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes that provide adequate support and cushioning.

2. Start off with a slow, comfortable pace.

3. Listen to your body and don_ push yourself too hard.

4. Make sure to stay hydrated throughout your walk.

Proper Form

1. Begin walking by taking a step forward with your right foot.

2. Swing your left leg forward and land on the ball of your foot.

3. Push off with your left foot and land on the ball of your right foot.

4. Continue alternating feet to maintain a steady walking pace.

Breathing Technique

1. When walking, try to inhale and exhale through your nose.

2. As you walk, inhale for two steps and exhale for two steps.

3. This will help to keep your breathing rhythm consistent.


1. Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart.

2. Make sure your core is engaged and your head is in line with your spine.

3. Engage your shoulders by drawing them back and down away from your ears.

4. Swing your arms naturally at your sides.
