Elbow pain occurs because the shoulder is in a compromised position while pushing with the forearm. Step one foot back from the cable handle, rotate your chest to grab it, and while hinging at the hips, push your hips slightly back to achieve a position that presses below the sternum! In this position, your face will be close to the cable machine's line. Please keep your face away from the line on both sides.
