Can I lean back on this chair at a 90-degree angle? Or should I do it on a flat bench with my back straight?

If you keep your back straight, you can engage your core, but if your back is not good or you're lifting heavy weights, I recommend doing the incline shoulder press with your back supported (a chair that leans back slightly).
