I just hold a 45 plate in both hands and do both sides at once
that’s not the case for me. I got this technique from a personal trainer and it’s been good for me.
I you do that it counter weights it self the other weight is pulling you down so your not using core to pull your self up
find some 45 plates with handles. Put your feet shoulder width, engage your core and do them alternating. Same concept just weight in both hands instead of one 😂
