When doing this, you only need to calculate the weight of the plate. The range of motion should be adjusted to fit your body. If you overdo it, you can get injured.

The weight without the plates varies for each piece of equipment. You can ignore the weight of the machine and just calculate the weight of the plates. If you happen to switch equipment at the gym or move to a different gym, you might end up lifting more or less than 100 kilograms, haha.

If the plate is 40kg, then it's 40kg. Just the weight of the plate.

It says that the weight of the Matrix exercise equipment without the plates is 47.6kg, and if the AI recommended weight is 40kg, does that mean I should be lifting 87.6kg..? I just can't manage to do 12 reps.
