What could be the reason for the pain in my left shoulder and triceps while doing this? I made sure to hold it symmetrically on both sides..

The shoulder pain is probably due to the hand position issue~ I think the hand position when gripping the bar is too low, around the lower chest area, which seems to be just about right.

My left shoulder hurts too.. I think it might be because I'm supporting it in a way that I can't with my whole hand...
