It seems like only my forearm muscles are getting stimulated, but not my back. What should I do?
I recommend lowering the weight or using a strap.
The arms need to have basic strength, but if there is a lack of strength in the arms, the forearm muscles will feel the stimulus first. As you continue, the muscles in the arms will develop, reducing the stimulus, and after the basic strength is built up, the stimulus will come to the back.
