It seems like there is a lot of wrist involvement. Fix your elbow firmly at the end of the cushion and focus on the bicep contraction and relaxation exercise. You don't need to take a large range of motion. If you contract at the point where you feel the stimulus, muscle growth will occur. Once you get better at the exercise later, you can increase the range of motion from then on.
