I’m sharing what I’ve heard because some people are in pain. When lifting, there’s no need to fully extend your arms; raise them just until your shoulders shrug. If you try to hold the weight with your arms while lowering, your deltoids will also engage, and your shoulders might come out of place while coming down, which could lead to a popping sound. Practice lowering the weight with your back using lighter weights.
