How to Band Crossover
Starting Position
1. Stand with your feet shoulder width apart, legs slightly bent, and hold a band in each hand with your palms facing up.
2. Position both arms at shoulder height, with the bands in front of your chest.
Proper Form
1. Push your arms out to the sides, keeping your elbows slightly bent.
2. Squeeze your shoulder blades together and hold for a brief pause.
3. Slowly return to the starting position.
Breathing Technique
1. Inhale as you prepare to push your arms out to the sides.
2. Exhale as you squeeze your shoulder blades together.
Precautions
1. Be sure to keep your elbows slightly bent throughout the movement.
2. Make sure to keep your core engaged and your back straight.
3. Do not lock your elbows at the end of the movement.
