How to Crossover Kneeling Hip Flexor Stretch

Starting Position

1. Keep your abdominals contracted throughout the stretch.

2. Do not lean too far forward, as this can cause injury.

3. If you feel any pain, stop the stretch immediately.

Proper Form

1. Slowly lean your hips forward, towards your left knee.

2. Hold this position for 15-30 seconds, feeling a stretch in your right hip flexor.

3. Slowly return to the starting position.

4. Repeat on the opposite side.

Breathing Technique

1. As you lean forward, inhale deeply and slowly.

2. As you return to the starting position, exhale slowly.

Precautions

1. Kneel on the ground, with your left leg bent in front of you and your right leg bent behind you, at a 90 degree angle.

2. Keep your torso upright, and your abdominals contracted.

3. Place your hands on your hips.
