How to

Starting Position

1. Do not arch your back as you lean forward. 2. Keep your head facing forward and your back straight throughout the entire stretch. 3. Do not force the stretch, but rather move slowly and smoothly.

Proper Form

1. Keeping your back straight and your head facing forward, slowly lean your torso forward, stretching your lat muscles. 2. Hold the stretch for 30-60 seconds.

Breathing Technique

1. As you lean forward, take a deep breath in. 2. As you hold the stretch, exhale slowly.

Precautions

1. Kneel down on the floor with your feet together and your hands on your hips. 2. Your back should be straight and your head facing forward.
