How to

Starting Position

1. Make sure to keep your chin parallel to the ground throughout the movement. 2. Do not overextend your back or force the stretch. 3. Move slowly and gently to avoid injury.

Proper Form

1. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, reach your arms up and over your head. 2. Keep your arms straight and reach your hands as far back as you can. 3. As you inhale, slowly round your back and look up toward the ceiling. 4. Exhale as you return your arms to the starting position.

Breathing Technique

1. Inhale as you reach your arms up and over your head. 2. Exhale as you round your back and look up. 3. Inhale as you return to the starting position.

Precautions

1. Stand with your feet hip-distance apart and your arms by your sides. 2. Look straight ahead and keep your chin parallel to the ground.
