It is a workout that contracts triceps muscle by lifting the dumbbell above your head. Be careful not to move your elbows during workout!
How to Dumbbell Tricep Extension
Starting Position
1. Be sure to keep your elbows close to your body throughout the exercise.
2. Make sure to keep your back straight and core engaged.
3. Do not lock your elbows at the top of the movement.
Proper Form
1. Keeping your elbows close to your body, slowly extend your arms and press the dumbbells above your head.
2. Pause for a moment at the top, then slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position.
Breathing Technique
1. Inhale as you lower the dumbbells.
2. Exhale as you press the dumbbells up.
Precautions
1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold a dumbbell in each hand.
2. Bend your elbows and bring the dumbbells up to shoulder height.
3. Keep your elbows close to your body and your palms facing each other.
