How to Forward Neck Flexion Stretch

Starting Position

1. Do not overstretch or move too quickly.

2. Avoid jerking movements.

3. Stop if you feel any pain or discomfort.

Proper Form

1. Gently press the back of your head into your left hand as you tilt your head towards your right shoulder.

2. Hold for 30 seconds.

3. Relax and repeat on the opposite side.

Breathing Technique

1. Breathe deeply and slowly throughout the stretch.

2. Focus on your breath and the sensation in your neck.

Precautions

1. Sit in a chair with your back straight and your feet flat on the floor.

2. Place your left hand on the back of your head, just above your neck.

3. Point your right elbow up towards the ceiling.
