How to Judo

Starting Position

1. Make sure to keep your back straight and your head facing forward throughout the exercise.

2. Do not overextend your arms or lunge too deep into the squat position.

3. Make sure to keep your chest open and your shoulders relaxed.

4. Avoid locking your knees or bending your elbows.

Proper Form

1. Step forward with your left leg and lunge down into the squat position.

2. As you lunge down, extend your left arm forward.

3. At the same time, bring your right arm across your body and point it towards your left leg.

4. Push off your left foot to stand back up.

5. Step forward with your right leg and repeat the same movement.

Breathing Technique

1. While you are in the squat position, inhale deeply while extending your arm forward.

2. As you push off your left foot and stand back up, exhale deeply.

3. Inhale again as you step forward with your right leg.


1. Begin standing with your feet shoulder-width apart and your hands at your sides.

2. Make sure your back is straight and your head is facing forward.

3. Relax your shoulders and keep your chest open.
