How to Standing Reach Up Back Rotation Stretch
Starting Position
1. Make sure not to rotate your torso too far or too quickly, as this could cause injury.
2. Keep your core engaged throughout the entire motion.
3. Do not strain your neck or shoulders.
4. If you experience any pain or discomfort, stop the exercise immediately.
Proper Form
1. Inhale and rotate your torso to the right, reaching up towards the ceiling with your right arm.
2. Exhale and lower your right arm back down to the starting position.
3. Inhale and rotate your torso to the left, reaching up towards the ceiling with your left arm.
4. Exhale and lower your left arm back down to the starting position.
Breathing Technique
1. Inhale as you rotate your torso and reach up towards the ceiling.
2. Exhale as you rotate your torso and lower your arm back down to the starting position.
Precautions
1. Stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart.
2. Place your arms out to the sides with your palms facing down.
