How to Mountain Climber with Towel
Starting Position
1. Begin in a high plank position with your hands placed on the floor and your feet together. Place a towel underneath your hands.
2. Engage your core and straighten your spine.
Proper Form
1. Lift your right foot off the ground and bring your knee towards your chest.
2. Extend your right leg back to the starting position.
3. Now lift your left foot off the ground and bring your knee towards your chest.
4. Extend your left leg back to the starting position.
5. This completes one repetition.
Breathing Technique
1. Exhale as you bring your knees towards your chest.
2. Inhale as you extend your legs back to the starting position.
Precautions
1. Make sure to keep your core engaged and your back straight throughout the exercise.
2. Keep your movement slow and controlled.
3. Keep your shoulders relaxed and your neck in line with your spine.
