This is a calf raise using the leg press machine. Great for finishing your leg workout.
1. Position your body in the center of the machine and place your feet on the footplate.
2. Keep your legs slightly narrower than shoulder-width apart.
3. Open your chest and create a slight arch in your lower back.
1. Push your heels to contract your calf muscles.
2. Slowly return to the starting position while resisting the weight.
Exhale when you push your legs, and inhale when you pull your legs.
1. Please be careful not to let your knees spread apart.
2. Keep your chest up and engage your core to avoid bending your waist.
