How to Calf Raise

Starting Position

1. Please prepare an object that you can step on.

2. Stand on the object with the balls of your feet.

3. Spread your legs shoulder-width apart.

Proper Form

1. Please raise your heels as high as possible to contract your calf muscles.

2. Please hold while resisting the weight, making sure your heels do not touch the ground.

Breathing Technique

Exhale when you raise your legs, and inhale when you lower them.

Precautions

When it's hard to maintain balance, please support yourself with a wall or an object.
