How to Down Dog
Starting Position
In the four-legged position, place your hands under your shoulders and your knees under your hips.
Proper Form
1. Push your hands and feet against the floor to lift your hips towards the ceiling.
2. Extend your arms and legs while lengthening your spine.
3. Maintain the position and breathe.
Breathing Technique
Exhale as you lift your hips, hold, and breathe naturally.
Precautions
1. Don't stretch your legs too forcefully; adjust according to your flexibility.
2. Be careful not to create excessive tension in your lower back.
