Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Bend one elbow and place your palm behind your head.
1. While placing your hands behind your head, slowly lean your upper body to the side.
2. After returning to the starting position, place the opposite hand behind your head and repeat the same motion.
3. Continue alternating slowly from side to side.
Exhale when you lean to the side, and inhale when you come back.
Do not lean your upper body forward; move only to the side. Avoid using momentum and do not strain your lower back.
