How to Standing Lateral Stretch
Starting Position
Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Bend one elbow and place your palm behind your head.
Proper Form
1. Place your hand behind your head and slowly bend to the side.
2. Return to center, switch hands, and repeat.
3. Keep alternating sides slowly.
Breathing Technique
Exhale as you bend, inhale as you return
Precautions
Keep your torso upright and move side to side. Don’t use momentum.
