Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart in front of the Smith machine and grab the barbell.
1. Grab the Smith machine bar and position your feet shoulder-width apart.
2. Push your hips back and lean your upper body forward to lower the bar.
3. Straighten your legs and return to the original position.
Breathe in as you go down and breathe out as you come up.
Keep your back straight and do not bend your knees excessively.
