It seems quite good to slightly bend the upper body forward while contracting to engage the pectoral muscles.

Stand your waist vertically (it can be slightly arched) and pull all the way, and you'll find that the lower latissimus dorsi also gets well engaged.
This is better than the standard recipe for rat's tail, it tastes good.
If you slightly tilt towards the arm holding the grip, it will activate the latissimus dorsi.
