If it's 10kg for 8 reps, does that mean one side is 10, or is it 10 combined for both sides? I always get confused about this.
I use a 25kg plate rather than dumbells. It's more stable. So I can focus more on the form and using the corect msucle group
People who say they eat back or traps: If you want to focus on your shoulders, they say not to lift above your shoulders. Instead of lifting your arms backward or forward, lift them to the side and don't let your shoulder blades touch. I got scolded.

That’s actually easy (I know it sounds crazy)
Use ankle cuff secure it just between your upper forearm and elbow you’ll be able to lift more. Take pressure off wrist. Make sure your knees have soft bend lean slightly forward and lead with your elbow with your arm slightly bend at the elbow joint
