Can barely lift after a full workout

Is is okay to get the back activated here?
When doing hanging leg raises, my feet keep touching the ground, so I substitute it with this.
Slightly incline and squeeze in the area where the chest rises at a 90-degree angle. It should look like a light touch on the outside.
Is this really exercise? I think warm-up stretching would be more effective than this.

Been so scared of these for so long. Started with no added weight to the 45 lbs weight, now I added an extra 5 lbs. Watching videos on proper form really helped
