I place a pad under the Achilles tendon and make the top pad touch above the knee, but my knee joint feels a tingling sensation. What could be the problem?

I've noticed when I lowered the weight. Im more controlled and I can feel it more in my hammys. Going heavy is great tho. I went up to 50kg then took it all down to 27kg and im in control and not the machine.
