Why would it not include the weight of the bar on the smith machine?
Relax your shoulder and neck, lower your scapula. Don't stop at the lowest point of the right angle (if you stop, your arm). Exercise with smooth movements.
Is the bar included in the weight suggestion e.g. 30kg total including bar or excluding bar?
Your warm up set weight should not be more than your actual working set weight

The machine is so old that it creaks and feels unnatural when lifting and lowering it.. It looks like dust has piled up, it's sticky, and it seems like it hasn't been cleaned.. Ha.
