If it's a vertical trajectory machine, it's good to slightly bend your chest (thoracic spine) while pushing naturally.
Don't just push blindly; think of bringing your forearm to your side chest, and you'll feel a tingling sensation.

Instead grab you two plate weights hold them behind your back and do the same lift so you engage that part of the shoulder that you're neglecting 🦍
For better balance pick a spot in front of you and focus on it. Don't lose eye contact with that spot
