When raising and lowering your legs, lift them while keeping your thighs as close to your chest as possible, and when lowering, also keep them as close to your chest as you can while holding and slowly coming down; this effectively stimulates the lower abdomen.

My body keeps crawling forward, is it okay to hold onto something with my legs?
When doing dips, if you don't feel any stimulation, try to think of pushing your legs back as much as possible and lean your upper body forward while doing it.
